Tis the season to be jolly as there is no better way to end the year than a season of giving and celebrating one another. From participating in toy drives to giving out end-of-the-year awards and secret santas, the OMCO Solar team came together to make the end of the year that much brighter.
We were excited to donate all kinds of toys big and small to the Toys-for-Tots Drive. Toys-for-Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, distributing toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. It’s always memorable and uplifting to see the joy a single gift can bring to the lives of these children.
Giving back is just one attribute of who we are at OMCO Solar, but another is giving honor and celebrating each other’s contributions to the year. A big round of applause goes out to all the award winners from “Jack of all Trades”, “The Big Heart”, “Above and Beyond”, to “Unsong Hero”, and of course…”Excellence in Humor and Entertainment”.
Our annual holiday party was such a merry scene as the food was great, and the fun was endless. A special shout-out goes to Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant for catering. A variety of contests kept the spirits high and the creative juices flowing from cubicle-door decorating, ugly Christmas sweater wearing, and the classic, human Christmas tree. The friendly competition created an atmosphere of laughter for all to see. The festivities concluded with our in-house DJ playing everyone’s favorite carols as two rounds of musical chairs and a water pong tournament ended the afternoon.
